Dr. J Brad Tally, DDS
Dr. Tally established his practice in Leawood, Kansas in 1996 to pursue his passion of providing “complete and comprehensive” dental care to patients on an individual basis. Dr. Tally’s treatment philosophy involves educating patients about available options and offering technology that is accurate and evidence-based within the criteria of the American Dental Association. With over 30 years of experience, his goal is to create long-term relationships that offer optimal dental care. With today’s constant flow of newly released technology and increased health standards, patients benefit from a dental environment that allows treatment plans to be discussed with solid reasoning and experience. Dr. Tally and his team strive to offer informative conversations with every treatment option.
As a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association and the Fifth District Dental Society, Dr. Tally fulfills continuing education credits dictated by the State License Board of Kansas. Dr. Tally is also a member of the Seattle Study Club, an international network of dental professionals that promote a collaborative approach. General dentists and specialists meet regularly for interactive educational programs, discussion on the latest developments, and attend presentations by world-renowned clinical speakers. This creates an environment both locally and nationally for comprehensive treatment planning and continued learning.

He went on to earn his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, before returning to Kansas City to attend dental school. While in Michigan, he met his wife, who is now a proud Kansas resident. They still enjoy visiting Michigan and consider it one of their favorite vacation destinations because of the small towns, beautiful summers, and access to Lake Michigan’s beaches.
Dr. Tally believes the most important aspect of dentistry is the relationships he builds with his patients. He is excited to serve the patients of the practice and continue the mission of providing personalized, patient-centered care. He also enjoys learning about and implementing digital dentistry, which allows for more efficient and precise treatment.
